Consulting Services:

Dr. Samet has been working as a Consulting Psychologist for a number of Westchester County schools, including Pleasantville School District, Scarsdale Public Schools, Irvington Union Free School District and Rye Country Day School. In this capacity he has offered evaluations and clinical services.

Suicide Prevention Training:

Dr. Samet was recently appointed Chairperson of the Schools/Youth workgroup of NY State Office of Mental Health: Suicide Prevention Task Force. In that role, he has helped develop best practice recommendations for NY State, and is leading the effort to help reduce youth suicide. Dr. Samet developed, and is now conducting, workshops on "Helping Students at Risk for Suicide," a statewide training program for clinicians, teachers and administrators. Dr. Samet can offer suicide prevention/intervention training for parents, students, teachers, clinicians and administrators, and is available to consult with school districts and agencies in their prevention efforts.

ADHD/Executive Functions:

Dr. Samet has 25+ years of experience evaluating and treating children, adolescents and young adults with ADHD, learning disabilities and executive functions difficulties. In this capacity, Dr. Samet has developed brief and full-day workshops for parents and school personnel, and is available for training on these important issues.
